Audax Labs Licenses Hitachi Vantara Technology for Electronic Communications Monitoring and Early Case Assessment to Simplify Data Access for Compliance, Discovery, Litigation, and Reporting

FREMONT, CA – June 22, 2020 – Audax Labs today announced it has signed a licensing agreement with Hitachi Vantara for electronic communications monitoring and early case assessment (ECM/ECA) technology. Co-developed with Audax Labs in 2019, the ECM/ECA offering uses Hitachi Content Platform and Hitachi Content Intelligence to help customers simplify access to the data needed for regulatory compliance, data discovery, litigation and reporting. Audax Labs will have exclusive license to ECM/ECA and will name the product suite DataBeagle

As organizations globally deal with explosive growth in data and content they are required to store electronically, they are more frequently encountering data protection and regulatory compliance requirements as well as legal discovery and disclosure requests for electronically stored information (ESI). Powerful ECM and ECA solutions, particularly when paired with industry-leading object storage and content analytics solutions such as those from Hitachi Vantara, can accelerate and simplify these processes and initiatives.

Deepak Nagpal, Audax Labs’ CEO said, “Our experience working with European and American banks shows how important it is for these organizations to be able to review and analyze data to deal with investigations. When combined with the extensive capabilities that Hitachi Vantara’s platforms offer, the ECM/ECA product can help companies gain deeper understanding of their data, assess potential risks, and reduce analysis costs.”

“We co-developed Hitachi Vantara’s ECM/ECA technology with Audax Labs to help financial customers simplify data access for investigations related to banking communications, governance and reporting,” said Colin Gallagher, Vice President, digital infrastructure product marketing, Hitachi Vantara. “When combined with our industry-leading object storage platform and our content analytics capabilities, Audax Labs can continue helping customers improve the efficiency and flexibility of investigations and cut the time needed for discovery searches.
